what would you do?

i knew it was going to come to this... and im torn on what i want to do...

ive watched my friends little girl the last two fridays... this last friday i watched her from 930 am till 4 pm and was paid 20 bucks.. i didnt get anything the first time.

now, my friend is asking me if i want to watch her every single friday...

im torn, because this is usually my husbands day off (he is also usually off saturday and sunday as well...) BUT it would be extra money...

if i decide to tell her yes... should i ask her how much she wants to pay (she did offer) or should i tell her i charge like 3 or 4 dollars per hour?

 If you decide to watch her first get some information on how much other sitters get, also set some ground rules.  Is she going to provide breakfast lunch and snacks for the child or are you going to?  If you have to I'd add that to whatever you charge because it's going to be dipping into your budget.  Get EVERYTHING in writing with copies for you both that way there won't be any arguments or questions later on.

If your husband doesnt mind and you want the extra cash go for it. Agree on a price!

I had the same thing happen with me and one of my friends..if you need the extra cash just make sure its clear up front how much you want to be paid.
