My boys had a concussion!

On Friday I reluctenly let me kids go to play at the neighbors house, I'm normally very strict about then staying in the yard, if they want to play with friends the friends are welcome over here and that's it.  Last week I started to relax a bit on the rules becuase they are doing so good at school and doing very well at home with chores.

Friday afternoon they were over at the neighbors house and the 7 year old boy pushed over my 4 year old and caused him to hit his head on the cement.  He hit so hard that he didn't even cry !  He cries about everything so that right there was a big deal to me.  About 30 minutes later he started to throw up like crazy!  I took him to the ER and they did the ct scan.  Luckly it came back clean.

We ended up taking him in 2 times on 2 days because he was just getting worse.  The second time he saw a Trauma specialist in the ER.  The doctor said that he was actually surprised that there was no bleeding or anything at all.   We had to keep him on Anti-Nausea meds through last night and today all he has is a bit of a headache still.

I am just still so mad that that kid hit him so hard.  That boy is 7 yearls old and should know better!  His parents really need to learn to be parents and start to discipline him!  He gets away with whatever he does with only a lecture.  (this kid was playing chicken and did get hit by a car only for his parents to say, don't do it again, 5 minutes later he's back in the streets!)  He is never coming to my house again!  That's it!  I hate to say it about a child but he is a terrible kid!  When I was babysitting him he and his 9 year old brother broke a window and used the glass to puncture my kids bike tire because he said something to him.  He pulled up my apple tree that I planted from seed!  He digs wholes all over my yard even though he knows that I hate that!  (that's why I don't have a dog!)  He had told my 3 year old day care kid that her doll is Chucky and that it's going to eat her when she's sleeping.  That poor girl had nightmares over it!  (which is why I quit watching them!)  I could just og on all day about the terrible things that he does.  But this, what he did to my boy is the last straw!  Today I'm going to talk to the principle at school and see if they can get him some counseling or somthing since his parents don't seem to care!

Sounds to me like you are doing the right thing by not letting him around your kids anymore. I would do the same thing!!! Hope your baby feels better sonn though, thankfully there was no serious trauma.
