Question about the Military

If a woman is inlisted and she becomes pregnant, what happens?  Does she have to stay in?

I think they are given the option of getting out.

No they can get out if they become pregnant.

It depends on the branch of service. I am in the Navy and they don't let you get out just because you are pregnant. If you are a single mom/ dual military couple and cannot provide care for your child if you have to deploy (a family care plan has to be in place that spells out what your plans are for taking care of your child while you are gone) then you can be discharged because you can't maintain your world wide availability.

The Air Force will let you get out if you want.  I got out when I was pregnant with my son.

ditto to the last post. but make sure you really want to cause i still regret it sometimes!
