U.K. School Reportedly Stages Teacher Murder Scene to Teach Kids Lesson

Thursday, November 12, 2009

Fox News: British students got the shock of a lifetime when they walked into their classroom and found their teacher's bloody body on the floor, The Daily Mail reported.

The parents of the students -- some as young as 5-years-old -- were furious that it was all part of a problem-solving exercise.

The scene was set up to look like the teacher had been attacked, with fake blood splattered across the floor and police tape blocking off the "crime scene," The Daily Mail reported.

The school's principal told The Daily Mail that the scene was staged to cover key skills in the curriculum, from creative writing to science.

Investigators then appeared to ask the students to figure out who committed the crime and reportedly took the fingerprints of some children, the paper reported.

To me this is just crazy! I mean 5 yr olds?? I can see telling high school kids this may happen as a part of their curriculum, but why 5 year olds??   What do you think??

Umm yeah, I would be pissed too! I agree, I could see doing it w/ high school students, but 5 year olds??  They're not going to understand that it was a lesson, they'll see it as something traumatic and its going to haunt them for years.  Very poor decision on the school's part!
