Does your SO/DH know your number?  As in, the number of people you've had sex with?  Do you think it makes a difference to them if they know or not?  If you had considerably more partners then you've had, do you think he would of never gotten serious with you?

 my dh knows mine and i know his,i think its important to shae those thing. Being closer that way helps

Dh knows and I know how many he has been with. I agree with pp, it is important to know.  I would def. think twice about being with a man who has been with like 20 women.  Being open and honest about your sexual history with your partner is extremely important!! We talked about it all- if we had ever had sex without condoms with anyone, how many people, how far apart and how long before we had met eachother.

DH and I have only been with each other, so of course he knows my number.

She knows my number... I can count on one hand, and I dont feel like any of them were "bad decisions" or "mistakes" and i dont mind talking about it.

She started early and had some wild years.  She does feel like some of hers were mistakes and shes embarrassed that the number is as high as it is.  I dont push her to talk about it, and while I wish she diddnt feel bad about her past it wouldnt matter to me if she has been with 10 people or 100.
