What's the next movie you plan to see?
I might take my kids to see "Planet 51" . . . but the movie I am DYING to see and can't wait for is "The Road." It's opening Wednesday and I have been waiting for a long long long time to see it. (It was delayed in production for a long time.)
I read the book it's based upon (The Road by Cormac McCarthy) twice and plan to read it again this week. It's an amazing book.
Anyway, what movie do you want to see next? (What did you see last?)
(The last movie I saw was "Precious" last Saturday.)
2012 was the big one i was waiting for. We saw it this past week and it did not disappoint!
The next one we will probably go see is Planet 51
If DP and i can get away with out the kids id like to see Law abiding citizen but we will probably have to wait for the DVD. I am not taking ANY of the kids to that one.

Lauren & Cara MOMS of SIX great kids!!!
We're not big theater people(last one I saw at the theater was Road to Perdition, LOL). We do a ton of drive-ins in the summer in our back yard, though. We use the library(free) and Netflix(one at at a time for $10/month). We get new releases and watch classics.
That being said, winter, we still have movies to watch. My Netflix queue has "The Little Girl That Lived Down The Lane" coming next. I saw it once when I was little and want to see if it's as disturbing to an adult as it was to an 8yr old. LOL
For the kids: We're waiting on the library for The Goonies, Up, Monsters VS. Aliens and other ones.

I really want to take my DD to see a Christmas Carol, but I hate that its only in 3D here. I dont really care to pay the extra money for it, and she doesnt like to keep the glasses on. Im hoping that after Thanksgiving they will show it in our theatre without the 3D.
Why does my Pre-Schooler ride Rear-Facing? Because she is not a minimum. She deserves more than that. If we get into an accident, I want to know that I have done everything in my power to protect her. Rear-Facing is endorsed by every car seat authority in the US. It is PROVEN to be safer. Why would I choose to take an unneccessary risk with the most precious gift that I have been given? PM me for more info!

I went to New Moon last weekend. Prior to that, I couldn't tell you when the last time I went to a movie, and I don't think I'll go again until Eclipse comes out. Sherlock Holmes looked really good, though.
I about had a heart attack when they told me that a large popcorn and a large pop was $12.75! Needless to say, I didn't buy it. Yikes.
Quoting mrs.hartman05:
