mom's owning guns

 I did not want this to get lost in the post do you own a gun? so I am making my own post  ;)  !!!

I just want to say how cool it is how many women on here have guns. When I first started Cafemom way back when they first started. I would reply to a post about guns and then cross my fingers that someone would come back me up. Now, there are many women on here that are for guns or own guns. There are even groups for mom's that have guns. I love it!

Yes, we own several, and there is nothing wrong with it at all. Education goes a LONG way.

Hell yeah!! My guns are my babies, I think families/people who don't have at least one in the house are crazy. My 9 year old is very well trained on how to properly handle a gun, my other two kids will be also (they are babies).

oh same here. We do a thing called Appleseed shot. My oldest is 13 he made rifleman at 12, my middle son was so close this past month. He shot a 190 needing a 210 to make rifleman. My youngest son we are still working on. But they are all really good. My daughter will learn to but she is only 2.5 years old right now.

We own 3 actually. When my girls are old enough they will be taught how to properly handle a gun and everything else that goes along with it.
