Hello Mommas :)

Question:

Do you spoil yourself?

how often?

what is it you do to spoil yourself?

(I am sure we all have different ideas of what "spoiling" is)

I like to spoil myself with a massage....only do it once a year..

but getting my nails and toes done.....for me I don't think of it a spoiling me...but more as the same as going to the dentist, doctor etc....just another appointment...

lets here you :)

Good moring, How do I spoil myself? Every other month I get my nails done. And about twice a year I get a pedicure. That's about it. Don't really have time for much these days, what with going to school full-time, and working part-time.God Bless.                                     Susie

all the time! lol i know, i'm awful.

sometimes it's calling in a house keeper for a day or two to give me a break. sometimes it's travel..  i spent a week in southern california/ arizona this past summer. i wanted my husband to go but he detests the heat! so he sent me.. and i gladly went with no kids! lol

sometimes it's as simple as heading off to the state park for an hour or so with the dog. you know? walking quietly through the woods, listening to the sounds of the wind and trees. just some quiet time. as a stay at home mom.. that can be the biggest luxury... the "quiet"

I guess spoiling myself is when I get to go grocery shopping or clothes shopping by myself.  My dh is gone a lot for work.  He's only home (on average) about 1 full week every month and a half.  So another way I get spoiled is his first night home I get to sleep without the baby monitor all night and get up whenever I want to, which is still about 7 (stupid internal alarm clock).  But it is very nice.  It is just little things like that they make me feel like I am getting a little selfish time!

I don't spoil myself anymore. I never have the money to do so *sigh*. When I did have the money it was all about new fancy clothes, and expensive restaurants. I've never been the getting my hair and nails done kind of gal...

I do my hair, nails, feet and eyebrows every 2 weeks( hair every week) and I do not consider that spoiling myself but things that just have to be done. I guess buying myself new things like clothes and shoes and handbags is spoiling myself and I go shopping about twice a month or so for myself.

I've never had a manicure, pedicure or massage so those would be HUGE treats.  I buy little things...like two new votive candles or a Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks...that's about it.

About every three months I go to the spa and get a facial.  To me that falls a little more on the side of maintenance than spoiling, and if I don't have the money at the time then I don't do it.  Twice a year I get a pedicure, begining of summer and end of summer (that is more for keeping feet healthy as I don't really like ppl touching my feet)  My real idea of spoiling is being able to grab a good book and a hot coffee and curling up to enjoy both, quietly!!  I love to read, I am one of those ppl that could go to the bookstore and stay for hours reading and choosing books.
