I voted "No" and that we don't put up a tree. I haven't had a tree in 10 years. I can not justify deforesting the planet in order for myself to have a dead tree standing in my living room as a form of "decoration" during the holidays and I don't like the fake ones either. Besides we don't celebrate the holiday like most do. Yes we decorate but with our own traditonal symbols.
We usually do it the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I usually end up taking it down the day after Christmas because I want my living room back.
This year I decided to wait till mid-Dec(yeah we'll see how that goes) since my family is all coming to make cookies, the first weekend in December.
Hopefully I won't be tired of it this year. But most likely I will be.
We are putting our tree up this weekend. I just wanted to get through thanksgiviing before we put it up.
We're not putting a tree up until our boys are old enough to not play with it. Maybe another 2-3 years. But I'm not very good at decorating them anyway.
We have a tree but our duplex is just too small for it. Plus, thats one more thing my 2 yr old can get into and I also watch 3 kids.

Yes..we do! We have 2 trees up....1 upstairs...1 downstairs...I love the holidays....we have a pine tree outside that we decorate also!
My tree is up, has been for a week.Usually dotn do it till mod dec, but i was SUPPOSED to have spine surgery this past monday.So i got everything done before because i wouldnt have been able to do it once i got home from the hospital. So my surgery got rescheduled till december 23rd. Now i am sick of looking at my tree lol
