How did everyone's shopping go? I was up @ 5 am and went to walmart. It was packed! Hungry hippos was all gone! strangly of all things, my daughter really wanted it and has been asking for a month and it was the only thing on my list that was sold out! The there was one at the register that someone didnt wantand and the people in front of me snagged it! aaah! I was so close! oh well! Just wanted to hear about everyone else shopping day.

My SIL and her friends wanted to start the night at the Coach Outlet, so we were in line there at 10:20PM last night. (They opened at Midnight.) From that point we shopped at a mulititude of stores at two local malls. We hit Old Navy at 3AM, Walmart at 5AM, and Target at 5:30AM. I spent almost 90 minutes in line with them waiting to pay. My only purchase? A bathrobe for my son, lol. I just got home maybe 20 minutes ago. (It's 9:15AM here.) There was just nothing out there that tickled my fancy.

- Got all the movies I wanted at Walmart, jeans for kid, new coat for kid, 2 sets of the Rubbermaid locking containers, a skate board and a basketball. Did pretty good. Wasn't really after anything special. Can't believe there was a fist fight over a freaking GPS, people are so insane. I've never been a BF shopper, so it was too much. I got pushed which caused my cart to hit a man in the heel he said GDamnit really loud it was too much. I was like sorry but he was still being all rude so I was like geez dude chill out. Crazy stuff. Like loins on a lamb in there.

Went to Toys R Us at 3 am. Got a remote control car, tool set, Disney baby carriage (last one :) ) Disney baby doll, Crawl and cruise musical gym, Joker doll, Mack car Hauler, Perfectly Pink dreamland Soother. THen off to sears where I just picked up some Baby clothes at 50-60% off. Then I got to Target at 440 and stood in line. They opened at 5 got a steam mop, crock pot, slippers, play doh, chi hair straightner (last one again!) and a digital photo frame.
I am so very tired but lots of good deals!

oh no..no early shopping for me...I have to go to work at 1....I hope I can find a parking spot and not have to drive around the mall and park far away!

I used to work at the mall too and the parking was insane on black friday! So was the store i worked at. Much more fun to shop than be dealing with the shoppers huh

If you wait until Monday most onlie places will have lower prices than instores as well as free shipping. I havent set foot in a mall-department-wal mart-kmart-target at this time of year in at least 7 years. You don't have to shop early either. The longer you wait the bigger the savings and when you get down to the wire most places offer free overnight shipping. I ususally get most things a week prior to Christmas.
