Dream on! What's your perfect Saturday look like?
After a very busy week, I look forward to Saturdays. My perfect Saturday involves spending some time with my husband, spending some time alone (thrift shopping, going to a movie, writing) and sleeping in.
What's your perfect Saturday look like?
How often do you get a Perfect Saturday?
My perfect Saturday would be a Saturday where the kids sleep longer than 8 (or if they insist on getting up that effin' early, then it would be for my husband to get up with the kids for a change), and I don't have to go to work...sleeping in til 10 or 11 would be nice. A nice romantic dinner out to finish the day (don't really care what happens during the day), and for the kids to go to bed easy. That would be my perfect Saturday? How often do I get it? Unfortunately, I don't get it but maybe once in a blue moon - and that's only if my hubby picks up on all the stress coming from me and decides to be nice enough to let me sleep in.
My perfect Saturday..... Nico sleeping past 5 in the morning (he is 6 months old), taking Autym and Nico to the park and out to lunch, leaving the kiddos with the sitter so that my husband and I can go out to dinner and a movie :o)
How often do I get the perfect Saturday? My husband and I go out on "dates" two or three times a month (Saturday nights), and I take Autym and Nico to the park almost every Saturday. The only part that NEVER happens is Nico letting me sleep past 5.... and this weekend none of the above will happen because Autym is sick. That's okay :o) We will readjust our idea of a "perfect Saturday" to include laying around in bed playing Uno with Autym.
I am a Private School sending, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Homework Helping, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Academic pushing Mum. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it raising my child - I will do that, Thank You. I believe that a woman's place is in the home taking care of her house, children and husband. I am submissive and proud, my husband is head of my home. I am a proud, traditional Roman Catholic, as is my husband... Yes we are teaching our daughter that The Church is the only Church. Aimee
It's Tuesday . . . too soon to look forward to Saturday?
(Not for me!)

My twins used to get up at 5:30 a.m. . . . and now they are teenagers and it's impossible to get them awake before 11 a.m.
Everything changes . . . eventually. :)
