Christmas light wires are coated with lead, so make sure anyone who handles them washes their hands afterwards! :)

Yeah, even the new ones. They have to have it on there to make the wires flexible I guess? Otherwise they would snap and cause fires.

For a couple of years, I did an old fashioned tree w/out lights because of this. hehe. We have lights this year though.
