Some of you know I have 3 dogs ; Noddy is a collie, Tinkerbelle is Austrailian Shepherd, and Chewy is a chocolate lab. Chewy is kept at our neighbors down the mountain in his big dog kennel with his wolf. And Noddy and Belle stay up here and I let them loose unless the chickens are out due to them eating eggs. With the big snow storm we had our neighbors shelter toppled over and crushed part of the pen. Chewy ran up here and got hold of one of the cats. We keep Chewy obviously down there as he has a fatal attraction to cats and chickens. Anyway, Noddy and Belle love all the kitties and they all sleep together under the porch in a pile of straw. We heard a lot of commotion going on outside and Belle and Chewy were fighting and Noddy was standing over CC (black cat). She was laying still with many bites and bleeding, Belle kept Chewy away from her. My daughter and I ran to the cat and scooped her up . Noddy and Belle actually did what they could to protect CC from Chewy. CC is doing okay, we weren't sure she would make it. But she is on the mend !
I love my doggies : ) even Chewy, but he needs to stop this.
Yeah... It sounds like you have too many animals that you have no control over.
"Your" dog lives with your neighbors? Glad that poor cat is ok.
Judge much ? Our neighbor keeps Chewy down there to keep his wolf company . We've had Chewy up here, but it's not right to keep him closed up in a small pen with two other dogs when they are in there with him. He is happier in a super large pen where he can run and not kill other animals. We have been trying to find him a home but have not had any success. Maybe you would like him ? Maybe we can bring him into the shelter and he can be put down ?

Oh good.
And don't worry about the other people saying anything to you, you know how they are. "How dare your dog not like cats" " How dare you not clean up the dog's poo with cloth eco friendly bags" blah blah blah.
Quoting Aldea:
Yes, CeCe is doing really well, she has kept her body temperature and it appears there is no internal injury. She is quite sore, but is up walking around , eating and drinking.
Quoting Elyce225:
That is so sweet. I hope the kitty is feeling better!!
Well I wouldn't have dogs that I had to keep penned up. Our dog who passed away before my daughter was born was about 120lbs and not even fully grown yet. My 5 year old dog is about 90lbs and both were/are inside dogs. She goes outside with us, but has to be supervised as she can climb our 6 ft fences, even though we have over an acre for her to run around. She has a high prey drive and will kill wild birds or mice she finds outside, but she is very well trained and would never hurt a cat or dog etc. She does agility courses, has extensive obedience training (hand signals etc.) and goes for daily runs to keep her from being destructive. Animals take a lot of work and commitment.
Oh, and no... I don't want your dog. I don't like to take on more than I can handle and clearly 3 dogs is more than you can handle. You don't have to send the dog to a shelter, there are lots of great rescues depending on her dominant breed. They have rehab programs for dogs who have not been properly trained or socialized and that might be good for her, not a new home where she could hurt or kill another animal if that new owner is just as inexperienced as you are.

lol ! No problem, I'm sure it's someone that doesn't like my opinion and doesn't have enough drama in her life to make a post like that. It's damn if you do and damn if you don't. lol !
Yeah, I'm relieved too, CeCe is a very mellow loving kitty and so tiny.

It isn't actually right to keep your dogs out of the house either. Dogs belong with their families. Your family is your dog's pack, to keep them away from that social circle is abusive.
Dogs shouldn't be sleeping outside, nor should cats. Bring your animals in.
Perhaps the reason why your lab keeps eating chickens and cats is because he is bored to death being left alone in a kennel.
No dog belongs in a kennel or a pen, large, medium or small. Bring them in, or find a home with an experienced owner that can deal with dogs that haven't been socialized because they have been dumped in a kennel.
Also, I don't clean my dogs poop with eco friendly bags...but I do know how to properly care for my animals.
