i need opinions please (sorry it's a little long)

ok so here is the deal. Last valentine's day was my very first valentines day with anyone. it was very special. my husband went to my office real early (i thought he was at work) and set up the most beautiful flower arrangement. my favorite flower is yellow roses....so he had a dozen silk yellow roses and a dozen real red roses both in seperate vases...he took some of the petals and put them in the shape of a heart on my desk in between the 2 vases...tied balloons to my desk and gave me the sweetest card...he wrote a really long letter in it and stated that he got the silk yellow roses because those will last forever like he wants the memory of my first valentine's day to last....i was in tears....

so for his valentines day present i bought him a MINT Colts watch...like the really really expensive watches that you have to order from the mint collection people...so i was so excited about it when i gave it to him....he said he loved it and all that....so as time went on i noticed he never wore it (mind you he told me he wanted a nice watch to wear whenever we went out)...so i asked him why he never wore it and he kept always saying that he didn't want it to get messed up or anything (kind of hurt my feelings made me feel like i wasted money)...

so anyways we went out one day and i opened the glove box to his truck and my mouth dropped...there was the freakin colts watch i spent sooooo much money on just thrown in the glove box...not in the box it came in or anything just in there like it was just another piece of cheap junk...so i looked at him and said ok if your not going to wear it then at least take in the house before something really happens to it...considering the reason he never wore it was because he didn't want anything to happen to it and here it is just thrown in the glove box...

so anyways do you think he listened to me? of course not he never brought it in the house...so what happens? one morning he gets up to go to work and his truck had got broken into and the watch was stolen...i was soooo mad and upset!!!! uuugggghhhhh

so anyways the point is i don't know what to do for him for valentines day now...i don't trust him to spend a bunch of money on him cause i know (especially now) that it won't be taken care of....what would you do?

You could do something like make his favorite meal, or something like that?  I wouldn't want to do nothing, but I'd be mad if I'd been in your situation too.
