OMG I'm out of cigarettes, and it's midnight. I'm a night owl, so just going to bed isn't much of an option. There's about 8 inches of snow outside and on my car, and its cold and still snowing out. I don't want to leave the house, so I guess I'll have to ride the night out LOL! DH refuses to buy them for me, so I guess I'll be the one taking DS to school in the morning, so I can swing past the gas station LOL!!
Married mama of 2 beautiful boys and a pretty princess. Feeding on demand, disposable diapering, cio, spoil my children rotten, shelter dog-loving, spay/neuter advocate, Facebooking, tattoo loving, college educated, vaxing, pro-choice, with morals and heart.
I did my hubby the same way!!! LOL I will not support another persons bad habit in any way shape or form they wanna do bad to themselves they will do it to themselves!!!
LOL! Good luck with that!
Actually, I quit a little over 5 months ago after a 25 year pack-a-day full-flavored habit. If you can make it 4 days it gets easy after that. I guess my stars were lined up this time... Yay, me!
Call me a wierdo, but I think the gov't likes us thinking that it's sooo dang hard to quit and we believe it 'cause it's damn tough those first few days... It keeps us smoking and paying all those extra taxes, PLUS smokers die early - which saves on Social Security! Woo hoo!!!
If you make it to morning you are a stronger person than I am. Do you know how many times I have tried to just get to hour four without a cigarette? I'm so addicted that I get up in the middle of the night. It drives me crazy. Well, part of it is that I was addicted to cocaine, meth and alcohol and I don't do those anymore but the cigarettes ... yeah... not going anywhere.
I've never smoked......but when stuff like this happens, how come you don't take it as the opportunity to start quitting?
I quit cold turkey myself because I found out I was pregnant. It wasn't hard the only hard part is hanging with my friends talking and smoking. Now, I realize I don't need a cigarette to talk to my friends lol. Congrats on quitting. It has been almost a month for me and I already feel better. My baby is too important than keeping that bad habit.
OP: I think you can make it and if feel this is time to quit then I would go for it. If not you can def get through the night!!
