To my fellow Deadliest Catch Junkies.  It was just announced in Seattle and on Disvocery Channels Deadliest Catch Message board

I'm here to sadly announce the passing of Captain Phil Harris.

Captain Phil Harris of Cornelia Marie  passed away sometime late this evening in Anchorage, Alaska after suffering a massive stroke on January 29th while off loading opilio crab at St. Paul Harbour.

Our thoughts and prayers go out the Jake & Josh Harris, Captain Phil's remaining family members and everyone on the Cornelia Marie.
