So,  every morning when I wake up, I get incredibly nauseaus (sp?) and get a horrible headache and there is absolutely NO chance that I am pregnant.  It practically cripples me for half the day--I can barely function enough to care for my kids.  I have had a complete blood work-up ran and all they found is that I am still borderline diabetic (not enough to do anything about), my anemia is gone, and I have pretty high cholesterol (the LDL or whatever the bad one is) which they are not sure why because I am vegan and very healthy and active.  But, I don't see how this would cause the nausea and horrible headaches.  Right now, I am stuck with state insurance (long story), so they are not really doing much to figure it out.  They just said to contact them if it gets worse--like living like this isn't bad enough when I have to try and care for my 3 children everyday like this.  Anyways, have any of you ever had this type of thing going on with you?  What was it?  Any ideas, thoughts, etc....would be appreciated!  Thanks so much!!!  (fyi--I know you're not doctors, just asking)

No but here's a bump and GL.

My only issues in the mornings is I can't focus on anything more than 2 feet from me or it makes me dizzy. But I have also needed glasses for 2 years and still don't have any.

Drink more water?  If you don't drink enough water you can have headaches and even nausea.  I developed digestive problems from a vegan diet and that caused nausea but no headaches or high cholesterol.  I actually had low cholesterol.

How is your blood pressure? Any history of stroke in your family? How is everyone else in the house? Could you have carbon monoxide or radon emissions?

When was the last time you had an allergy test? Try deep cleaning your bed, changing the sheets, if you can wash your pillows, and dust everything. See if that helps.

You say you are Vegan...that would mean you probably use margarine rather than butter right?  It is the margarine that is contributing to your high choleseterol because that is what margarine is.   You might want to try different brands.

As far as your other problem...what do you use to sweeten your foods?  If you use any of the chemically created sweetners (equal, splenda, sacchrine) they can cause the headaches, I used Splenda and Equal and kept getting head aches that were debilitating, ex's cousin told me to stop and within days the headaches stopped.

That's the other thing I forgot to say--My dizzy spells...I used to have them and then they stopped for a while and now they are back too pretty badly...especially at night.  I mean I can just be walking across the kitchen and suddenly get dizzy and just fall over.

I dont use margarine or butter.  I do not use sweeteners...the occasional organic raw sugar, but usually nothing--especially artificial sweeteners because I have cervical cancer and they told that can make it worse.
