We went on the first hike of the Spring. We went up a trail just outside of our town. It was still muddy and snowy in some places, but it felt so good to be outside without a heavy coat on. I took this picture from the top of the trail.
What did you do today?
Well we live on the Island of Okinawa In Japan and today we did what we usally do on a sat. We went to the beach and My son played in the sand while me and my husband took turns snoorkling, It was very beautiful under the sea haha A little mermaid joke. Then after that we ate some soba noodle soup very delicious japanese soup, then went home a took our dog on a family walk!
DH and DS1 went to synagogue. I stayed home with DS2 who is fighting some cold and DD who just felt like hanging out w/mom. We went out for sushi with my mom after the boys got home. Then DH, DS2 and I took a nap and the older kids rode their bikes to the library.
Right now the older 2 kids are reading. The little one is roaming around with his "swords" (paint stirring sticks) and I am alternating between surfing on here and working.
My son is spending the weekend with his grandparents, and going to the theatre for a play. He's 15, so any time he wants to spend with his grandparents, I allow without issue.
My husband and I went on a hike at a local park. Then we came home, showered, and went grocery shopping. We also went out in search of a specific tablet my son asked for to use with his computer. (He likes to create animation.) We couldn't find it in town unfortunately.
We made homemade bagels! What a lot of work, but definitely worth the reward!
OMG is that beautiful! I almost had it mistaken with NJ! LOL Today it rained and rained and rained.....ugh.....
Hubby had to work a little bit...I stayed in my PJs til it was time to take my DD to her friends house. The boys are hanging out here...one's watching tv right next to me and the other is sitting here on his laptop. Yes, family time....
Hmmm, I slept until noon and laid around on the couch the rest of the day.
My mom took my daughter to swim lessons this morning and brought her back. She just picked her back up for a sleepover and to take her to church in the morning.
And here I remain, on my couch lol.
