 hmmm....well that is someones personal choice to take their kids to the circus.  i dont take my kids to the circus just because i havent had the chance but not all people abuse animals.

Absolutely not.  When I was little my dad and I went to the circus (ringling) and another one that started with a "B" I cant remember the name!!!  But we went out back to look at the elephants in their pens and they were horribly dirty, small, and the elephant wasn't doing what the man told him so he whipped it, and I don't mean whipped it like... a little nudge to get it's attention, I mean full strength whipped the poor elephant.  This elephant was not even full grown yet.  It was sooo sad, and so traumatizing.  I will never ever in my life support a circus, and I have already taught my daughter that circuses are mean so she knows, these are not conditions that these animals should be in.
