If they could possibly do it any justice, which they couldn't, Stephen King's Dark Tower series.  If they could put that into a movie and not fudge it up, it would be awesome.

The Magic Castle. It's a book my friend wrote about life with her son, and her sons experiences prior to him coming to live with her. She took him in as a foster kid when he was 8. Little did she know what he came from. He is a multiple personality. Last I knew there were 16. I was able to read her draft before it went to the legal department of the publisher. They took out alot of stuff. Too graphic they said. His family of origin were heavy into a satanic cult, and he was nastily abused. After a few years of him living with them, they went to court to gain full guardianship of him. He's now about 37. They went on 20/20 and Montel Williams. Would be a great movie.

they always f up stephen king movies. Alot of his books could have been super awesome movies and they turn them into the cheesiest things ever! Maybe that's his plan, he wants his books to always be better then the movie.
Ps I'm so with you on this one.

That's my DH's favorite. And he's of the same mind.

I would LOVE to see the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon made into movies, but they would totally fuck it up; so, honestly.... I don't want any of my favies filmified.
