i'm a dental assistant so im freaking, i've seen a few toddlers come in and have to have teeth pulled bc they've been on a bottle and they;re teeth rotted! So i had nearly a heartattck, I'm throwing them out & having a talk with my mom.

He's her 1st and only grandchild and tends to baby him beyond belief and it urks me!! She's giving him milk at night still in a bottle and JUICE IN A BOTTLE im soo going nuts right now lol

I'd get rid of them too. You might calmly sit down with her and explain that he's not on a bottle anymore and you'd appreciate it if she gave him milk or juice she put it in a cup.

that would be annoying.  Just get rid of them and replace them with sippy cups?  I doubt that a bottle once in a while will hurt his teeth, but since he is 2 he doesn't need bottles so I would replace them with something else.

I agree wholeheartedly.  All of my boys were off the bottle by 8 months.  Their idea.  When they could hold a cup the bottle was obsolete.

Stick to your guns.  YOUR baby.  YOUR rules.

I got rid of all bottles when Shannon was a little past a year and threw her's at the wall and said "Bwitty Sippy" (she wanted a cup like her cousin).

I'm nursing my 2 year old, but I would be pissed if anyone tried to give my toddlers a bottle.
