I found a gray hair when I was 18. Haven't had anymore recently though.

That's awesome that you haven't found another one! lol maybe this one was just a freak hair.
Ok random note, my aunt found a gray hair when she was 18 and a year later she was completely gray. scary!

Yep, later 20's, but that's because I tried to grow out the dye in my hair and found it.  It wasn't one or two, it was scattered all over.  Who knows how long I've been that way, lol.  I still dye it anyway.

I had a few in my late 20s and started highlighting.  Now at 36 I get color with a little more red than my natural.  There's no going gray here.

DH's uncle was completely white haired in his 30s and his daughter started finding gray ones in high school.  Needless to say, she's been coloring ever since.

I started finding them when I was around 18, now (at 34) I can barely keep up with dying them...lol. My DH is older than me and only has one or two, not fair!
