Holy..... gasp..... gasp...... retch.... omg....

PHOENIX (AP) — Two women in Phoenix are in critical condition with hundreds of bee stings after a swarm attacked them while they were out for an evening walk.

A witness tells KTVK-TV she heard screaming Thursday evening and saw the women lying in the street covered in bees from head to toe. A man jumped in to help and was also stung.

All three were hospitalized, and the two women first attacked are in critical condition.

Phoenix firefighters searched for the hive and eventually found it and took it down.

Officials warn people to stay away from bee swarms and avoid loud noises or wild movements that may disturb the bees.

When I was growing up in Utah, we had this happen to our family. It was horrible...all over the news. My Dad had honey bee hives up in our fields.  The bee men came & took them away , but didn't leave a hive for the stragglers. Well, the stragglers came to our hives at our farm and invaded it, and it ended up being all out bee war. One of our show horses was hooked up fairly near the bees ( normally this wouldn't have been an issue at all, but with war going on, it was HORRIBLE.) They  covered the poor horse. It was beyond horrible. He bucked wildly  and got way close and kicked over the hive with the queen bee and killed her.  Eeeee Gawds, is all I can say. The horse  got loose & ran into a neighbors garage and died of a heart  attack.  The bees were covering my Dad, who'd been out there trying to help the poor horse , covered our house.

The bee men came that night & removed them all. Dad & the neighbor with the garage & dead horse in it were taken to the hospital by ambulance.  Daddy died a couple of months later.

Bee's R not a thing to mess with.  But they say if anything like this happened - to get in water.  I remember the stupid Vietnameeze  kids used to PURPOSEFULLY  knock down bee hives , and then run like hell laughing & screaming while a bazillion bees were chasing them.  Stupid little shits !!

And I thought mosquitoes were bad! When I was alot younger some friends & I became stranded out in the Country late @ nite when our car broke down. I was living in Joliet near Chicago & this happened on a warm summer nite. The girls & myself were wearing shorts & halter tops. Needless to say the mosquitoes ate us alive while walking back to the city. Our backs were covered w/ numerous bites including our arms & neck area. It was horrific. Never want to experience that again....no cell phones back than!

Those poor ppl. who were stung by multiple bees. I hope they recover~
