Do you have air-conditioning in your home?

readingI have four kids.  I've been married 22 years. My favorite color is purple. I hate coffee. I read a lot. I love to go to movies alone. Hot weather makes me crabby.

I have to stay cool. My epilepsy can be triggered by heat.

It's going to be 106 on Friday..My air for me and the kids is a necessity...!!!..I don't know if I would die without it..but I know in London and Paris last year many people did die when it was triple digits as they have no air conditioning in houses there....

TECHNICALLY, I acknowledge its a luxury, I dont NEED it to live.

However, In my house its a necessity...LOL. I would go NUTS without it.

To/For me personally.

Luxury

Nope, no A/C.... We do have some pretty hot days here in Portland (and heat just does not dissipatewell downtown because of all the glass/cement/asphalt).  But not enough hot days during a full year to warrant the cost of A/C, for me personally.

For me it is a necessity because the heat and humidty make it difficult to breath with COPD

Here in FL its almost a necessity but in alot of areas its more of a Luxury.  Im spending my summer at my aunts up in Pennsylvania and she doesnt have a/c and actually cant stand to be in somewhere that has it!  We have become too adapted to it I think...  Just a little over 100 years ago they didnt have it and got by just fine...
