I need some quick help with cheap dinner recipes for large families (6 people)

i think rachel ray has a whole cookbook called "meals for 6" or something like that. :)

I use my Crock-Pot all the time . . . I like the "Fix it and Forget it" series of cookbooks.

Spaghetti and corn on the cob are favorites no matter where  you go. Also if you have a good size baking dish, you could put rice, vegetables and meat in one dish cover it with foil and forget it. you just make to dishes full, when serving that many people. For perfect rice always use the 1 to 2 ratio. One cup of rice to two cups of liquid. (water, etc.) Now for the perfect dish, put your rice and water in the dish then, the vege's and then your meat. Like chicken, porkchops, anything like that. It is the easiest dish i have ever made.
