Can you forgive?

What can you forgive, or never forgive? What would it take for you to stay and work it out? What would be your techniques to get yourself over it (not talk about it, etc)?

I unfortunately am the one that needs to be forgiven. I've been told that I forgive to easily.

In what respect?

Anything. Cheating, lying, drinking, anything you have trouble forgiving. I never thought I'd frgive cheating, but I eventually did. But I can't forgive lying ever again, no matter what.

If the one asking for forgiveness is sincere, then yes I can... but ultimately, I am not the one to whom they have to answer for their misdeeds.

I can forgive just about anything.  And have.  I won't forget or open myself up to getting burned again, but I can forgive.

Was cheated on constantly by my ex so DH now knows that I will not tolerate it.  That is one thing that will never be forgiven again.  I've over-filled my quota.  lol

Other than that, anything, pretty much.

I've forgiven lying. I forgave but I still don't trust. Trust is earned.

The one seeking forgiveness has to be sincere for me to be forgiving. I can forgive nearly everything from nearly everyone if they ask for it.
I am capable of forgiving but I am not capable of forgetting.

Part of forgiving is forgetting - so unless you can forget it, you can't truly forgive it.

Lying...cheating...abuse of any kind (verbal/physical).
