How much do you break down what you recycle? Do you deconstruct the boxes & put everything in one neat package? OR just toss it all in the bin?
We recycle....it's required here. If they pick up your trash bag and suspect something recyclable is in there, they'll leave it on your yard with a note.
We recycle everything we can so if we didn't break down the boxes we wouldn't have room for anything else. We aren't required to break them down though. That's the only thing we are picky about, other wise it all gets tossed in.

If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it.
Anything you want to, do it. Want to change the world... There's nothing to it.
We don't recycle. Curbside isn't available and the nearest center is too far away. We still only have 1-2 trash bags in the can come trash day once a week, so there isn't a lot we're tossing that could/should be recycled, anyway.
We do not have curb recycle service. So we take it about 2 times a week.
I usually break down our boxes and put them in with the newspapers. The cans & plastic goes in the bin loose. We don't have a glass recycling facility, so it's garbage.
We have curbside recycling service provided by the Council. The bin is given and we chuck in "most" recyclable goods. Plastics, boxes, glass, aluminium tin cans as well. The only things not to be put in is metals like iron, steel and so on (as they can be recycled, but in a different facility).
The only thing they ask us to do is rinse out the bottles that are put in and take the lids off. The lids can still go in, just not attached (don't know why). Sometimes I get lazy and just chuck them in, but I mostly stick with it. As for cardboard and boxes I break them up - And I do that because if I didn't those boxes would take up the whole room of the bin.
My Mum went and put styrophome (sp) in the bin one week and I freaked. Turns out that the bin service don't charge for things being missorted into the wrong one. If I was to also put a bottle into the other bin, still no charge so it is pretty good. I can do whatever I want.
