i hate m ylife tomorrow we have to go to court because my landlord is trying to evict us we are only 1 and a half months late my dd was sick in june and because we had to pay for those bills we have been backed up on rent if we get evected we have no where to go what kind of mother does not have a place for her baby and belive it or not we actually make to much money to get help

i start eviction at 3 days late. you're lucky. just explain it to the judge. just for future reference, if you're going to be late on your rent, its always a good idea to call ahead and make an arrangement....talking is better than ignoring.

we did talk to the landlord and made a payment plan but when we got the notice she said she was not in charge

I understand your situation but I also understand your landlord's situation. He has a life, family, and bills to pay also.

bring all paperwork with you. if you have documentation that'll be good. so who's in charge?

ya i know its our fault but we tried to fix it right away and our complex is owned by a corporation they own like 10 other apartments and we are paying them its just taking us a little while we told the manger that and she was fine with it but now we are served with court papers
