No. What kind of manipulation is going on?

 I don't think so.

I use to work at a preschool and some of those 4 year olds were the most manipulative little people I've ever known.

What's going on?

No, I learned very young how to play people. My son is 3 and he is already figuring out how to TRY and play mommy and daddy to get what he wants. It doesn't work out for him, but he still tries.

well our daughter, my step daughter who spent the whole summer with her mom who is somewhat of a bully and lost custody of her 5 yrs ago; came home making, quite incriminating, accusations towards me to her dad.  she says she wants to go back to live with her mother and her dad doesnt think it is a condusive lifestyle for her.  she also said she would do anything to go back and live with her.  my question is, are these letters being coached or is she competent to do it herself in order to get what she wants.
