What is your town's claim to fame?

A few years back, there was a guy on Survivor from my town.

Oh, and there was an up-and-coming country star who came from around here . . . Lila McCann, but obviously she didn't make it big because I couldn't even remember her name until I Googled a little.

Our town is in books written by Vilhelm Moberg, about Karl Oskar and Kristina Nilsson. We celebrate Karl Oskar days, which are a hoot.
Our local (and more recent then the books) claim to fame has nothing to do with a person though and everything to do with our watertower that steams.

This is my family, It's little and broken, but still good... Yeah... Still good.

Where we live right now is known as the media  capital of the world.  Many media and entertainment companies are headquartered or have significant production facilities in here, including Warner Bros. Entertainment, Warner Music Group, NBC Universal, The Walt Disney Company, Cartoon Network, Viacom, and PBS.
