Sad, in my lifetime

I have lived through the whole space program.  John Glenn orbited the earth in 1962.  Now the final space shuttle lifted off today.  Sad to me.

I know. :( I sat outside and watched for it. Usually I can see the.flames and the streak behind them from home, but it must have been too cloudy

I will never ever forgot watching the first moon landing.  I don't really remember Apollo 13 though.  My dh does.  He remembers his parents talking about trouble with the spacecraft.
