I didn't care about this stuff, until I found out some friends and family got sick from drinking it....So I looked into this "all natural/ safe" product...There is alot I know that the ppl selling it and taking it don't....I'll tell you a few..There are at least 3 appetite suppressants in it..

In the mix, so far I found 2 appetite suppressants..(Oxypregnane Steroidal Glyoside) (plant extract) . this is from the Hoodia plant and( Citrin k..).

Citrin K  caught my eye, so I started researching this..It comes from a fruit known as the Garcinia cambogia, or known as the Malabar Tamarind..They get Citrin K from the rind of this fruit that is full of  Hydroxycitric Acid ..Does anyone know what Hydroxycitric Acid is...Well I'll tell you..

Hydroxycitric Acid is what gave the diet supplement Hydroxycut it's name....The FDA pulled it from the shelves after a 19 yr old died and other ppl starting having problems with their liver.. it also had ephedra in it, which is now banned.. When the company disclosed the list of ingredients in Hydroxycut, the FDA MADE them take hydroxycitric acid out, because it is liked to Liver damage, muscle and Kidney disease, cardiovascular crises and siezures....since they revamped it, it's now back on the shelves..

There are a few names it goes by  to disquise Hydroxycitric Acid ...Don't take my word for it though, all you have to do is look into all the ingredients in the pink drink and not just go by what the company site tells you....one of their sites will tell you that Hydroxycinnamic Acid is NOT liked to Hydroxycut..that's because Hydroxycinnamic acid is derived from Cinnamon.. which is good for weight loss on it's own..

The Accelerator pill has 2 more appetite suppressants in it.. More of the Hoodia( which I found in the Propietary Blend)  and something called Phenylethlamine HCL..the more I looked into the Phenylethlamine, I also found the they also use this as a componant in anti-depressants...

Like I said, I'm still researching this stuff.. I can't find if there are clinical and scientific studies done on it,other than what the company itself did..

I don't take it, but was asked why I care about this.. It's only because I have 7 family /and friends who got sick from it ( prolly more than that) and I know more that is taking it..I don't want to see ppl i care about get sick... I'm not trying to tell ppl what to do... So if I can share what I've found and it helps someone, then I feel I've done a good thing..

So if you are drinking it and experience, headaches, diareaha/ explosive diareaha, fatigue, or constipation, abdominal cramping, bloating, excess gas.ect...this is prolly why...

Some one called the company and asked them about the Citrin k in it.. And the guy told them that it was safe for both liver and kidney..?????? He is CRAZY!. lol.. of course he's not going to say it's bad for you.. so please, don't take my word for it...I've looked at multiple sites and are still looking...I heard someone lost 14lbs in 6 days drinking Plexus Slim.. Do you think that much weight loss is really healthy??? You will lose LOTS  of water weight first and if you stop drinking it, you will def gain it all back because you've been dehydrating and starving your body..

....You have to consume calories in order to lose weight..Ppl that are drinking it is being told that is safe and natural and it only targets your adipose fat and won't damage muscle tissue.. Adipose fat, is just a fancy word for fat cells..Yes, too much of it can lead to diseases..There being told you don't have to stop eating what your eating or even exercise.. You can even drink it while your Pregnant, let your kids drink it,it's so safe (why would anyone want to lose weight while pregnant?)..Citrin K is bad for pregnant woman and kids..

Safe and healthy weight loss is about 2-3 lbs a wk.( You have to consume at least 3,500 calories in order to lose one pound)..you have to eat in order to burn calories..starving yourself does not burn calories, your body will go into survival mode and start storing fat because it thinks it's starving.( Just look up what rapid weight loss does to your body)...To lose weight healthy, drink lots of water, eat right, exercise, at least walking , eating raw fruits and veggies, stop the soft drinks and fast food........If something like this "Pink Drink" sounds too good to be true, I'll tell you.. It is too good to be true... I hope this helps someone..

Thanks for the information on Plexus Slim.  I have several family members that have been on Plexus Slim since

February.  They have lost at least 70 pounds each and maybe more.  They say they feel better and are more

energetic.  One is diabetic and he says his blood sugar is down to 95!!  I don't know what to think about this

product, except that it sounds too good to be true.  The only sensible way to lose weight is to eat right and

exercise.  I would LOVE to lose weight but I am going to hang around and give it ample time to prove itself.

I just pray it does not harm my family in any way.

I use this product and many in my family do too. We have all had success with weight loss and I am down to wearing a size 4 from a 14. I had both my family doctor and my ob/gym look at the ingredients and approved it before I started. My grandmother was able to be taken off of at least 2 different medications for diabetes and cholesterol because of this product. The only thing that would make people sick is not being instructed properly on the "optional" accelerator capsule. Anybody who is caffeine sensitive should not use it. I was instructed by my rep to only use half of it until I built up a tolerance to a full one. The full pill is too strong for most. It was created for diabetics to help regulate blood sugar. The drink holds all the health benefits as it helps regulate all blood levels in your body, not just sugar. When your body is balanced it can process sugars differently...hints: weightloss! I will continue to use it to maintain my new current weight as I feel better using it than I do without it.

I found this article while researching plexus slim. Maybe there are different kinds of Citrin K?

I agree a hundred percent.. My heart doctor said no way to this.. I'm 59 and it has taken me 3 years to lose 84 pounds and still have more to go. I been going to a weight doctor and he is so proud of me.They don't want me taking anything for weight loss except metformin and precose ,which is meds for diabetes but is also given for weight loss. I feel great and haven't gained any weight that I have lost , back. Tried all kinds of diets and fad diets in the past and always done well and lost fast until I got tired of  whatever I was doing for the weight loss and then gained back all I had lost and more..

I will continue to go to my weight dr.and lose slowly.. As my weight dr. and heart dr. said.. These fad and diet drinks and pills are next years law suits.

When anyone tells you that you can lose without dieting and exercising then you better think twice about it..You can lose but what is it doing to your body in the mean time.. If you don't have but a little weight to lose then I say you may want to go the fast route but if you have a lot then You Don't Need To Try The Fast Way.

Changing eating habits and exercise is the best way to go. Losing weight without exercise is not helping your body at all. You need the exercise to help your organs and bones..

I know i will get some back talk since I'm losing so slow but anyone whom wants to give me grief over my opinion can do so..

Any body that has a care for others will respect my opinion.. I respect yours even if I don't agree with some of the opinions..

some of your information is incorrect.  I have done extensive research on Plexus Slim, and with a nutritional degree, I am aware of other facts you are not.  You do not have to consume 3500 calories to lose weight, you have to have a defecit of 3300 to lose 1 pound of weight...that would be from a healthy, low calorie diet and exercise.  If you were to consume 3500 calories...you would gain a ton of weight, a healthy caloric intake depends on each individual person.  For me, a fire fighter/EMT/personal trainer, I need 2800 calories a day to maintain my weight.  If I wanted to lose weight, I would need to lower my caloric intake to 2000 calories per day to lose 3 pounds per month.  A significantly obese individual could easily lose 14 pounds and remain healthy and Plexus Slim recommends you drink 1/2 ounces of water per pound of body weight (recommended by all medical personnel) so your theory that you are losing water weight and will gain it back in wrong.  Citrin K is known for helping intestinal issues and for food preservation and it is highly water soluable.  The VERY LITTLE amount used in Plexus Slim is used for just those reasons, to help the product disolve in water and for flavoring.

It is not only used for weight loss, but also for weight gain.  It is a dietary supplement to assist your body in releasing toxins absorbed by the environment, eating chemically processed foods, ect.  I was once over weight and friends of mine were very successful in using Plexus Slim in losing weight.  After extensive research of all the ingredients, talking with people that had used it, I decided to try it.  I build muscle much faster than I lose fat, I have the muscular make up more of a man than a woman with larger quads and bicepts than many of my co-workers, and after gaining 70 pounds with the birth of my last child, I wanted a metabolism boost....I got it!  I lost 5 pounds my first week, 12 the first month and 50 in a year.  I still exercised, but my BMI went from 25% to 18%.  My brother-in-law started using it, at 420 pounds and unhealthy in every way imaginable, and is now 280 (he's 6'8" so healthy weight now), doesn't have to take insulin like he used to for diabetes, and all his numbers are in line.

Just like any diet, exercise program, ect...it doesn't work for everyone.  I have given it to my teenage son who has ADHD and the meds he's on for that prevents him from gaining weight.  He gained 20 pounds and now looks like a normal kid, not a poster child for hunger.  I am sorry if this product did not work for you, but it does have neumerous health benefits and I am proud to say I am an Ambassador for Plexus Slim!  I have helped dozens of men and women achieve their weighloss goals, in a healthy way.  And helped my brother-in-law avoid an early heart attack and get back out walking again!  Maybe not for you....but it DOES work without the side effects you have reported.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information Citric K is NOT hydrocytric acid. Just because it can come from the same plant which has that doesn't mean it is the same thing. Citric K is SAFE and NATURAL and is used in a number of FDA APPROVED  medications.  It is used to make urine less acidic. THis helps the kidneys get rid of uric acid, thereby helping to prevent gout and kidneystones. It is also used to treat certain metabolic problems like acidocis that are caused by kidney disease.

IT WILL NOT..... I REPEAT... WILL     NOT     KILL    YOU

However the energy drinks that 87 percent of americans drink two to three times a week CAN.

As far as loosing weight super fast, it can be a health problem, i agree with that. HOWEVER... the average person carries between 5 and 10 pounds of water weight at any given time.. this attributes to the large portion of people who have lost the weight in short periods of time.
