The accountant just called, needed to know when we are closing and to remind us to report our September sales when we did. She asked where DH was and then asked "Is this his daughter?" Lol!!!

Face to face, and now on the phone! I am used to it though, I call places and they tell me they need to talk to my mom or dad all the time! I guess I sound like a kid on the phone!!!

I've got the same issue. High voice apparently equals minor.

Yeah. The funniest thing was when I called to ask what was needed to get a library card when I was 20 years old and they said I needed SSN, etc and to bring my parents. I said "uhhh, I am 20..." Lol!

I am 50 and people think ALL the time I am my 20 and 17 yo dd's. EVEN my MIL. I must sound REALLY young on the phone ROFL. I have had people say "is your Mom home" I don't really have a high voice either. I don't get it.
