Substitute teacher took a picture of my 13-year-old....not sure how to handle this
My DD, who just turned 13, came home from school yesterday and mentioned -- in passing -- that a substitute teacher (from another class -- not her sub) stopped her in the hallway & asked to take a cell phone picture of her & a friend. He said they 'reminded him of _______' (my DD had no idea who he was talking about).
We live in a very small town (1700 people), but I don't know this man. He subs at the middle school on a regular basis, and was also one of the refs at her basketball game on Tuesday.
I am honestly not sure how to handle this. On one hand, I think it's incredibly inappropriate for a grown man to take a picture of a couple of middle-school aged girls. On the other, it may have been completely innocent, and I would hate to get the man in trouble.
Report it to the school. I wouldnt allow that. He shouldnt be taking pics of any of the kids. GL!
That is the way I've been leaning. I know the principal well -- I could certainly mention it to him and get his opinion (guessing he knows this teacher).
