Maybe I've been to too many children's funerals, and just funerals in general, but I'm not suprised a drug addicted celebrity went too soon. I know lots of people NOT addicted who went too soon. My heart breaks for her daughter and the people who have to move forward without a loved one.....but there are a LOT of grieving people today, and not for Whitney Houston. Lots of people died yesterday and will die today....

Yeah. It's like I told my DH: I don't mean to sound callous, but I don't really care all that much. I feel for her family, but I can't bring myself to expend much emotional energy over it when there are so many things more demanding of said energy.

I agree too.  It's sad but not any more sad than some else dying (well besides my MIL, lol).  Death doesn't bother me at all, it's a part of life.

Totally agree. I hate how much hype we give celebrities, but not kids dying of cancer or soldiers dying in other countries. It just seems wrong. 

I'm very spiritual, so death doesn't bother me so much.
