Suspected cause of death - drowning

The autopsy of Whitney Houston revealed she did have water in her lungs when she died, but the medical examiner needs to determine exactly how much before they can rule whether she died as a result of drowning ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ. 

As TMZ first reported, authorities believe Houston may have fallen asleep or lapsed into unconsciousness in the bathtub and drowned.

But according to our sources, authorities cannot yet determine whether Houston died before she was submerged in the water or after. We're told there is still a possibility Houston was dead before she went under the water. 

Toxicology results will be back in 4-6 weeks

 In order for water to get in the lungs she had to still be breathing.

I think it's pretty rare to drown in the tub as a healthy adult. There has to be more.

She wasnt a healthy adult. Shes an addict.

Nancy Grace showed pictures, she was fine going into a party, and then when she left she was a hot mess.

She's an addict, so I'm sure she was drunk, and then high on something as well.

She was an addict, and it's tragic that she passed, but honestly she did it to herself.

They think xanax, alcohol, coctail in the bathtub. My mom was like "why would someone do that, wouldnt you think youd pass out". An addict wouldnt. She probably did it 100s of times before and didnt think anything of it.
