Is it normal for a newborns eyes to not stay focused or sometimes look like they roll back?!

Mine never did that.  They cannot focus as newborns.  Call and talk to a nurse at the Dr's office.

Interesting question...what you are describing is something me Godson (5 months) did when he was born. My grandson (3 months) focused from the day he was born. Until my Godson, I had never seen anything like it. Just to be safe, I would call the pediatrician. Good luck mama and I hope everything is okay.

They don't focus well at all, but not so sure about eye rolling... My son would roll his eyes up when he was nursing, like he was in heaven, but they would just randomly roll back. Try to get a video of it and bring it to your doc. :) it's probably fine!

 some babies do that. I remember thinking their was something wrong wtih my BFFs baby cuz she did that. But she was fine.

i remember mine doing that when they were asleep and dreaming. They would open their eyes and they would be all rolled different ways. It was creepy.

 Both of my kiddos did that. If it is making you uncomfortable you should talk to your pediatrician at the next checkup.
