If you didnt want certain procedures done to your new born in the hospital, like no circ, no pacifiers, no vit k shot or hep b vax, would u turn in a paper or have one on the baby bed the whole time u were in there?
Im trying to decide if thats a good idea or if it would make me look like a freak. Lol.

I'd definitely talk to your doc/midwife beforehand, and I'd make your wishes known to the delivery nurses. Typing it up wouldn't be a bad idea.

Well I'm in Canada so they don't circ babies.
But as for the vit K shot, hep B vax, etc I just told my doctor before hand when discussing my birth plan. If I didn't have my husband there to make sure they didn't "forget" I'd probably bring in a written birth plan at my last OB appointment and when I came to the hospital during labour.
Thank goodness for hubby, though. He reminded them to not cut the cord until it stopped pulsing.. I was so high on love and adrenalin I completely forgot about it.

I plan to have a typed one at my birth. I just hope I don't forget anything and Hubby will be there to make sure they don't forget anything.

Is someone going to be with you during labour/birth?
