Oh man I am an expert on this, lol.  I was hospitalized with all of my pregnancies due to this.  It got so bad with my third that I got a horrible kidney infection and was in the hospital for three weeks.

The only thing that helped was Zofran 8mg.  It didn't even help that much.  I would get peppermint oil and rub it on my finger and constantly stiff my finger.  Peppermint calms your stomach.

Tell her to take a shot of water every minute for 10 minutes.  It doesn't matter if she eats as long as she stays hydrated.

How far along is she?

I was hospitalised earlier on in this pregnancy since it was so severe. I say trial and error is about all you can do. Go for teeny tiny amounts at a time however annoying that is! People always say dry toast etcetera but I find with every pregancny I can keep different things down.

Thanks everyone! She is 8 wks. It just started. Thanks for the advice. I dont remember its been so long. She takes her prenatals at night dinner seems to be the only thing she can keep down. She's keeping hydrated and I'm basically giving in to whatever shes feeling up to eating. Babys Daddy comes home from college on wkends and takes care of her then. Its a team effort for sure.

Small amounts and something a bit salty worked for me, and ginger.

Go to the drug store and pick up a set of Sea Bands.  They are for motion sickness.  I wasn't having trouble keeping stuff down (but then, anything that sounded like it MIGHT upset my stomach, I just avoided, and didn't eat all that often), but these helped a LOT.  You have to get them on right (it's a pressure point thing), but once you do, they seem to work wonders!!
