Completely Disgusted with what I just heard on the news!
Was watching the 9oclock news tonight and they were talking about how this morning in Iowa an Amber Alert went out on the weather radios about a missing child and there were ACTUALLY call in complaints from Iowa residents claiming "thats not why they bought a weather radio!" OMG! I am furious and disgusted with the other residents in this state! HOW horrible can you be! It was a CHILD MISSING! Wow!

I know I would have been complaining had I known that they decided not to send out the broadcast! What if that was the ONE way that the child was found - some trucker driving down the road at 3am and hears it and then sees the kid at the next rest stop?!!?!?!?!?! ARG! Im furious - sorry I don't normally even watch the news and then this was on and since now I have a 5 y/o SD and a new DD on the way OOOOOOO if that was my kid I would CALL EVERYONE! at 3 AM just to find her!!!

IDK about that lol I am an Iowa resident born and raised and you would not have heard me complaining about being woke up at 3am
