She told her mom and she just said "I don't think she should've said that", but didn't do anything. I'm pissed. What kind of shit is that for a teacher to say to a kid.

Well, you have some kind of influence because you put their business on the boards here. Talk to the mother / father and have them do a sit-down with the teacher.
No sense in gossiping about the teacher behind her back and not getting BOTH sides of the story.
