Hi everyone! I am new here and just had a baby boy 4 months ago. I feel so blessed to have had him but have realized how lonely it can be when your only conversation is with a baby. I need some adult conversations and looking for friends that I can relate to.

Congrats to you!!!  It can be lonely.  I remember.  My baby just graduated HS though.  Enjoy all the stages and ages!!!

I can relate to you. I'm a single first time mom of a 3.5 month old daughter and I'm just heading back to work tomorrow. We love them but I feel your pain with talking to a baby all day long :)

Congratulations! Single Mom's are superwomen! :)  I am married but my husband is a firefighter so he works a lot and is gone for a couple days in a row and I think its terribly hard! I don't get any help from my family and have land, lots of animals and a house to take care of and sometimes I don't know how everything is supposed to get done in one day. I want to be able to have someone watch him but the thought of it scares me to death. I get too worried, i'm sure I am overreacting. Where is your daughter going when you go back to work?

I stayed home 3 months with my first and have to say I was ready to go back to work.

I feel exactly the same way. I have a four month old little girl and my husband doesn't seem to realize that I need adult conversation every now and then!

Thank you! :) I like it so far, just having other Mom's with the same thing in common is so nice to have.

I need adult conversations and a feeling of being somewhat normal...lol I love being a Mom and wouldn't want it any other way but I still need to feel like an individual too. It's so hard to balance everything. I don't want to leave his side and yet I want to get back to my normal routines. The hardest thing for me is feeling like I don't have anyone I can relate to around me.
