Should I tell my friend to try to fix it first?
I went to consign a bunch of things at a consignment shop, that I later learned was owned by a friend of a friend.
One day out of the blue, the store closed. The owner said to leave a facebook message if you wanted your things back.
Well, I did and the next day the fb page was gone, the website was down, the phone disconnected and the store gutted.
Well, I still want my shit back.
I want to file theft charges. Should I tell my friend to tell her friend to give it to me or I will, or just do it?

File that report. It definitely is Theft of Property, or Theft by Deception, or SOMETHING! Did you have any kind of contract with her?
Well it was a consignment shop. I have my reciept. I have to find it, but I have fb conversations. PD can get those.
