I use both. For the ebooks I can't find, I buy the hard copy. Even our library does ebooks, so what ones I can't find there, I check out in hard copy too.
"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification" Romans 14:19
I have an ereader b/c it's easier to carry around than a paperback...BUT I'm with you. You can't lend your book to your friend (altho thru amazon you can borrow a friends book for 7 days to so) and the book isn't your to do w/what you please. The only down side. Once you've read it,you can't donate it to the library or anything.
I love my kindle. I love being able to slip it in my purse and have whatever book I am reading at the time with me, or having the next book when I finish one.
Also, it's really awesome for when I fall asleep reading, I don't lose my place LOL.
I think its awesome to have all my books in my e reader, but if its a really good book, ill buy a hard back too.
