DD just graduated HS. 3am two kids from her class were killed in a 1 car crash. Speed is suspected to be a large factor. One hurt and do not know if he was in her class or not. A kid died in the spring from her grade already.
Update, a 3rd kid died over the weekend. He was declared brain dead Friday. No seat belt on. The other 2 were wearing seatbelts.

Hope they were not drunk or high. DD said one was a big stoner. Kids think they are invincible.

That's so sad. I couldn't imagine seeing my kid graduate, then them dying like that.

When I was a sophomore one of the seniors was killed in an accident 2 weeks before graduation! It was so hard on everyone. They gave his diploma to his mom at graduation.

Prom night and graduation night historically have the highest number of MVA fatalities. It is very sad. Teens tend to believe it won't happen to them - part of the teen mentality. Bless their hearts.
