My sister let the dog in and now there are fleas everywhere. What do I do. I've vacuumed but I'm still getting bit.

You just sprinkle it on the floor everywhere there is carpet. Leave it for about a week and sweep it up. This worked after we flea bombed the house 3 times.

I have to deal with them for a week or will it start killing them immediately?
Will sea salt work? I have a big thing of that.

I think when I first read about it i think it said 4 days but we did a week and it worked. Sea salt should be fine.

Salt.  or diatomaceous earth works too.  It too is harmless to you, but destroys the exoskeleton of the flea.  Go for it quick though, because the larvae can live a long time.
