The Internet (Social websites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.) ruin marriages.

A little random, I know. LOL But DH and I were talking about this last night.

 I disagree.

It's used as an excuse...so they don't have to address the real issue(s).

Agree. For some. They say the number one cause of divorces now is facebook. Jealousy.... Meeting old flings and exes. ... it can be disasterous.

My hubby does not do internet social anything. When we first started dating we both had MySpace. All his exes came out of the woodwork and random girls friending him. Caused a ton of problems. So he said screw it and got rid of it and never had it since. And that helped so much.

I disagree. DH was saying that his brother and wife share one, because otherwise it ruins marriages.

No dummy, how you USE the site what be what ruins YOUR marriage. You don't fuck Facebook. You may link up with another person and cheat, etc. But that's not the Internets fault that you can't be faithful...

No.  People ruin their marriages.  Social Networking is just the newest outlet to do so.

Things don't ruin a marriage. People do. I think it makes it easier for people to make bad choices which in turn ruin marriages.

Disagree. If a website ruins a marriage, there are bigger problems than a website.

Married people ruin marriages.

There was no such thing as the internet or cell phones when my marriage was wrecked. Hmmm...he worked for the Government. Maybe I should blame it on the President (then).
