Kidney infection out of nowhere, 5 days late, is this normal?

My period is 5 days late, but I'm also getting over a kidney infection. I've read that the infection can throw your hormones out of whack and cause you to be late or miss a period, but, but I've also read being pregnant can make you more prone to infections. I'm so confused. How much longer should I wait before I take a PT?

Has your infection cleared up?If you go in to the Dr's make sure you have them do a blood test. They can tell you for sure if you are.

Can't afford to go back to the doctor, no insurance. We have insurance for our kids but couldn't afford it for us.

Go to planned parenthood and get a test done.
