House centipedes. We used to get them at an apartment I lived in.

Snakes! My son has been begging for one and I keep telling him no. Finally, we agreed on a bearded dragon instead.

 centipedes, milipedes, and roaches.... ugh. I'd take a spider of any of those three any day.

As much as I love having a basement, getting centipedes is a definite downfall to that. Yuck!
