I always wanted to be an urban engineer, but it's just not practical for me to go get a masters at 38 so I can compete with 25 years olds when I am 45 for entry level jobs.

that's ok, I am not too broken up about it.

I am now a production coordinator and bookkeeper for a small graphic design firm. My boss is an old friend. It's not my dream job, but I am really happy there, she pays  me well for what I do, appreciates the hell out of me, and I really love working for her. So in that way it is a dream job, kwim?

Either a trauma nurse, nicu nurse, or L&D nurse. I currently work as an er/trauma nurse and I plan to at some point check out the land of babies : ) though I'm not sure when I will take on that adventure.

Really? You don't have any dreams? What will you do when your children grow up and move out?

She'll probably take up a career of criticizing people on Cafemom hiding behind the anonymous button.

That was subtle.

I prefer to remain anonymous for many reasons.

I'm trying to figure this out. My youngest is 3. I've been a SAHM for 5 years. It works for us, but I know that if I get a job, well be Able to save more money towards 3 college educations and retirement.

I'm 28, which is still considered to be young. I just don't want to get stuck in a career path I hate, when I don't even have to work.
